Welcome to Optimist Club of Fort Smith

The Fort Smith Optimist club is a community service organization dedicated to "bringing out the best in children".  We’ve been working with kids in Fort Smith, Arkansas, since 1946. Optimist clubs are members of a world-wide service organization dedicated to serving the youth of their communities.

The purpose of the Fort Smith Optimist Club is to develop “Optimism” as a philosophy of life and to aid and encourage the youth of our community.

We are a group of people who care about kids. Our members include people from every aspect of our community: business, civil service, social, educational, cultural, retirees and even young people. The club is open to all adults.

Are you in good standing in the community, have integrity and a heart for serving kids? Come join us! We’d love to meet you as our guest at our weekly meetings.
